Whether you’re dealing with everyday health challenges or looking to support long term resilience in your animals, we’re here to help with practical, proven solutions that fit real farming life.

Biogro-certified Homeopathics for dairy, livestock, and companion animals.

Here’s a quick, practical guide to using homeopathy on farm this year.

Parasites – Summer Monitoring and Management

Warmer weather often means farmers are keeping a closer eye on parasite pressure, especially in younger stock. Our range offers practical tools that many find easy to incorporate into their seasonal routine.

Commonly used options:

  • Vermis Complex — A popular all rounder used across multiple livestock classes.

  • Pediculi — Selected during lice season.

  • Bacillinum — Used when animals show typical signs related to ringworm.

  • Tick Combo — For general tick season support.

  • Fasciola — Used when farms are monitoring for liver fluke.

  • Fly Combo — Included on many farms as part of their fly season programme.

Full Moon Drenching Reminder

For the best "bang for your buck" drenching around the full moon is our go to. As best practice, we recommend pairing these two products:

  • Herbal Digestive Drench (also a nutrient focused tonic).

  • Vermis Complex (following the Herbal Digestive Drench, Vermis is added to the water troughs on 3 consecutive day of the week, throughout the month).

This system is easy to follow and suits busy summer workloads.

Natural Teat Conditioner
A Farmer Favourite

Our Natural Teat Conditioner is used by herds around the country as part of their after milking routine. Farmers appreciate its simplicity, natural ingredients and compatibility with standard spray units.

Some of the products farmers are using now

All our Homeopathic products can be used alongside conventional animal health products and have been developed with practical farming in mind.

Grass Staggers – Seasonal Considerations

Some farms notice an increase in grass related pressure as summer progresses, especially where high endophyte pastures are present.

Products farmers often use at this time:

  • GS Nosode — Commonly added ahead of expected seasonal pressure.

  • Stramonium — Chosen by farmers when animals appear unsettled or reactive during high risk periods.

Bloat – Planning Around Feed Conditions

Sudden feed changes or lush pockets can lead farmers to adjust how they manage their stock.

Often used during higher risk periods:

  • Colchicum — Commonly introduced ahead of expected seasonal pressure.

  • Carbo veg — Used alongside Colchicum by those with a previous history of bloat prone paddocks.

Facial Eczema – Getting Set for the Season

FE season creeps in quietly, and many farmers prefer to set up early.

Popular summer choices include:

  • FE Nosode — Added by farmers before and during their usual risk window.

  • Hypericum — Used when animals spend long hours in hot, bright conditions.

  • Alfalfa, Minerals & Chelidonium — Selected by those who like to support stock during times of seasonal change.

Rotavirus – For Farms with Previous History

Where Rotavirus has been a seasonal issue, farmers often prefer a structured pattern of support throughout gestation.

Commonly followed sequence:

  1. Rotavirus 30c

  2. Rotavirus 30c/200c

  3. Rotavirus 1M

  4. Rotavirus 30c pre calving

Each given twice daily for 7 days approximately every 2 months to the whole herd.

Farmers tell us this stepped approach is easy to follow and fits smoothly into their existing routines.

Mastitis support - Many options available

There are many different options available to assist with mastitis.

  • MA Complex + MA Special - Used for whole herd maintenance with fluctuating or high cell counts.

  • BBU - Early signs of mastitis, swollen, hard, painful udder.

  • SSC - Subclinical cases and swollen quarters.
